Our IT Managed Services team is lead by Aaron Lowe with assistance from Bruce McDonald. Customer support for this division is provided by our Operations Team.

Aaron Lowe
Director of IT Managed Services
Born and raised in Louisville, Aaron attended Trinity High School and the University of Louisville. He has more than 15 years’ experience as an IT consultant. Aaron lives in Louisville with his wife and two children. He enjoys bourbon, poker and spending time on the lake. He’s also an avid Louisville Cardinals fan.

Justin Branham
Senior Systems Engineer
Justin Branham is Unified’s Senior Systems Engineer. He brings 14 years of IT experience to his role and he was raised in Eastern Kentucky and attended Shelby Valley High School and Eastern Kentucky University where he majored in Information Technology Network Administration. He was initially introduced to Unified while working for a customer, Credit Solutions in Lexington. After working closely with our Lexington team, he decided to join our company. When he’s not managing and designing IT solutions, Justin enjoys being on the lake, waterskiing and knee boarding. He is a motorcycle enthusiast and when not riding his Harley, he is a coach for Harley Davidson’s Riding Academy out of Man O War Harley Davidson in Lexington (another Unified customer). He resides in Richmond with his wife Stephanie and their four-year-old daughter, Emma.

Bruce McDonald
Systems Engineer
Bruce McDonald joined Unified Technologies in February 2019. Bruce has over three decades experience in information technology, computer networks, and technology implementation. A native of Indiana, Bruce found a new home in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky after serving in the Marines. Bruce is an alumni of Eastern Kentucky University and Bluegrass Community and Technical College where he also worked for many years. Bruce enjoys family, fitness, nutrition, and motorcycle touring.

Dan Nelson
Systems Engineer
Dan joined the IT Managed Services team in 2021. He is a graduate of Zane State College with an Associate Degree in Electrical Electronics Technology. From 1995 to 2009 he worked for Gannett Newspapers in various IT roles. For the last 10 years Dan worked for a major advertising agency as a Systems Specialist, offering Desktop level support for 200 employees, managing ordering and inventorying for the IT Department and scheduling third party technicians. Dan and his wife Sherry have 4 sons and 8 grandchildren (with 2 on the way). When he’s not handling IT issues for UT customers, he is Pastor Nelson at a church in Jeffersontown.

Doug Banks
Systems Engineer
Doug has been in the telecommunications industry since 1997. Doug specializes in advanced application and large enterprise with Mitel installations. He lives in Meade County where he has been a Board member on the Meade County Fair Board for 18 years. Doug and his wife, Melinda, have two children who are both active in the 4H club raising and showing project swine.

Jim Gross
Systems Engineer
Jim has worked in the telecom industry since 2000. He joined the Unified team in December of 2016. Jim is originally from Millstone, Kentucky and now resides in Lexington with his wife and 3 children, Chris, Katelyn and Samantha. He escapes to his family’s cabin and boat on Herrington Lake whenever he can.

Keegan Morris
Systems Engineer
Keegan came to Unified with 7 years’ experience in wireless telecommunications sales. In his words, he’s excited to be on a motivated, customer centric team focused on learning in an ever changing technology environment with the leader in the area. His main interest is LAN networking and infrastructure planning and execution. Keegan is a die-hard UofL fanatic and an even bigger Star Wars nerd. He’s a self-proclaimed “Louisville native with cheeseburger in paradise dreams.”

Ron Coleman
Systems Engineer
Ron is a founding member of the Unified team and started his career at CEDCO twenty three years ago. He currently holds a Cisco CCNP and Microsoft 2003 MCSE and is working on his MCSE 2012 Server Infrastructure certification. Ron and his wife Kelly have two daughters, Bailey and Shelby. Ron enjoys watching his daughter Shelby play high school softball for Henry Clay and travel ball for the Central Kentucky Stealers.
