Great Weather for an Outdoor Project
Yesterday was a much-needed good weather day. Our ISS (Integrated Security Solutions) crew has been working all summer in extreme heat, pouring rain and everything in between. I caught up with one of the crews working on an installation at Hurstbourne Country Club. The project was designed to provide safety and security to the members, guests, and property at the club. John Marshall, Unified’s advisor on this account, worked with the manager at Hurstbourne, Jason Becker, UT’s ISS Sales Engineer and Dave Balcom from Unified’s ISS department to determine the design including placement of equipment and point to point connectivity.
The project consists of new cameras strategically located around the grounds of the club, license plate readers near the gates and a Wi-Fi network to support everything.
Harold Rood was the field supervisor on the project. Hayden Tedford and Caine Boyer, both second generation UT employees assisted in the installation. Hayden looks and sounds just like his dad, Matt Tedford who is the ISS Service Manager. Caine’s dad is our Senior Sales Engineer Aaron Boyer. And while we are talking about family, Harold Rood’s daughter Morgan is a Staff Account in our Accounting and Inventory Department.
