Maria Morris joined Unified Technologies as Cloud Services Manager in November 2019. Maria brings almost 20 years’ experience in unified communications. Maria holds project management certification to assist her team in the agile work environment and is always enrolled in certifications to learn industry trends. In her spare time, Maria enjoys historical tours, travel, and hospice volunteering. Maria and her husband have 3 very active children in sports including lacrosse and volleyball.

When you aren’t at work, what keeps you busy?
My family is involved in many extracurricular activities including Volleyball, Lacrosse, and Ski Club that I regularly attend.
Have you always been in this industry?
I have been in telecommunications for almost 20 years. I have worked on the Carrier side until I started with Unified Technologies.
What’s one thing you love about what you do for a living?
Creating streamlined processes and the results of those processes including satisfied customers and happy employees.
What you do for fun or to unwind?
A fine glass of wine with good friends is a good way to enjoy an evening.
If you could do one thing for a living that had nothing to do with your current job, what would it be?
Open a children’s boutique that makes each child feel beautiful and special.
Is there something fun or interesting that you’d like people to know about you?
I am obsessed with speakeasies. My husband built me one in the basement.

I was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana. I have an older brother and sister. I am married with 3 children.
