If you know Unified Technologies, you know we love sports, and we have a special affinity for baseball. With a handful of former college baseball players floating around the office, it’s usually a topic of conversation, especially in the spring. Opening Day in baseball, fantasy baseball drafts, kids’ softball and baseball practices, travel ball, and college baseball heading into the heart of it’s season— it’s a baseball lover’s dream. In fact, John Marshall played in the Phillies organization for a while and his sons play for the University of Kentucky. And on top of all that, we are thrilled to be the official telecom provider for the Louisville Bats. We wanted to take a moment and tell you about our relationship.
Minor League Team Implements ShoreTel Phone System
A few months back, we partnered with the Louisville Bats to assist with their voice and telecom needs. Our ShoreTel Managed Services solution was a perfect fit. It makes sense as many other major and minor league ball clubs have chosen ShoreTel to be their phone provider. As part of our agreement, we were named the official telecom provider and have sponsorship opportunities with the Bats’ marketing. So you’ll hear us on radio ads, and you’ll see us in the media guides. We have a large spot in the program as well.
If you take in a Bats game, you’ll see us on the outfield wall. One of our customers already sent us a picture while they were taking in the “old ball game”.
We’ll also have our logo on the scrolling video board. So when you’re out taking in a game this year, send us a fun picture with Unified in it and we’ll share it on our social channels. You can use a hashtag like #UnifiedandtheBats and share it on your own social channels. We’d love you for that!
Although the brand awareness we’ll enjoy from this partnership is very important to us, it’s not nearly as important as bringing on another satisfied partner. As we finish the installation and implementation with the Louisville Bats, we’ll be showcasing them in an upcoming customer spotlights. So be on the lookout for that in next few months.
For all those around Kentuckiana looking to take in a Louisville Bats game, here is a copy of the 2017 schedule. While we’re at it, here’s a copy of the Major league baseball schedule.
So take in some baseball, give us a shout-out from the park, and contact us if your business or organization needs to review your telecom needs.
