Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is one of our newest partners and since everyone is in ‘back to school’ mode, what better partner to spotlight than this excellent establishment.
We had the great pleasure of working with the staff at CHCA this summer installing a new ShoreTel Communications platform.
Here’s our conversation with Linda Watson of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.
What drew your company to make a connection with Unified Technologies?
We had been with the same vendor for our old phone system for many years. When we considered looking for a new system we mentioned it to our IT service provider. They recommended that we talk to Unified Technologies. After meeting with Tyler Parsons, our account representative, and attending a seminar hosted by Unified, we knew that was the partner we needed. I was very impressed with Tyler’s professionalism but yet I felt like I was talking to a friend. He made IT very easy to understand, not a foreign language.
If you could describe Unified in one word, what would that be?
According to Linda “We were not an easy install. One problem we ran into was not being ready for the new technology and then there was a fiber cut during the installation. Unified was not deterred. We have been so impressed with Dave Robin, Ron Coleman and Whitney Puckett. When we have questions they are answered almost immediately. There’s nothing we’ve thrown their way that has not been resolved. I feel like Unified is there for us. From the very professional and easy to understand seminar that we attended, to the discovery and preparation and finally down to the installation, Unified has been amazing to work with.”
How has using Unified benefited you and your company?
There’s no way we could have kept communication with our offices if we had not chosen Unified and the ShoreTel solution. We had to move our administrative offices twice and we never lost connectivity with the schools. It was a complicated move. We had to move our administrative offices during construction, When three of us moved across the street and others relocated down the street, we still needed to be connected back to the rest of the school and staff. There is no way we could have stayed in communication by phone with the rest of our offices if we did not have the ShoreTel system.
Tell us about your organization and what you do.
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is a vibrant, multidenominational, college preparatory school serving students in preschool through grade 12. This fall, CHCA is investing nearly $9 million to deliver exciting new levels of student engagement through innovative programming and expanded facilities.
CHCA is leading the way to higher levels of cognitive, relational and spiritual engagement for each student, which in turn fosters greater levels of participation, questioning, exploring, meaningful risk-taking, and discovery. There are three buildings at our North Campus which houses Pre-K through Grade 12. Our Downtown Campus provides classes for grades Pre-K through Grade 6.
In summary, Linda says the staff is pleased and amazed at the new technology. And we are thrilled to have such a great partner.
