We all know that conference calls can be cumbersome and frustrating. Figuring out how to call multiple people and not being able to see who is actively on the call are just a couple of things that make a conference call difficult. In this video, Michael Gabhart discusses the Make Me Conference feature of the ShoreTel phone system.
With a ShoreTel phone system, a conference call can be made from both the phone handset or the communicator software. In the video below, Michael will walk you through each step of making a conference call. The ShoreTel phone system gives you the unique ability to put the person on the second line on hold and consult the person on the third line before the three lines are merged. This opens up a lot of possibilities for different companies. For example, insurance companies who need to do a warm handoff to an outside party would greatly benefit from this feature. Another cool feature is that once the calls have merged, the initiator of the conference call is able to hang up and let the other two parties continue talking.
