Go in any office across the state and you’re sure to find a copy of The Lane Report. It’s a must read for businesses and a source of interesting information for those wanting to understand what’s going on around the Bluegrass.
Unified team members Ashley Logan and Tyler Parsons recently worked with The Lane Report to update their telephone system.
While working a booth at the Commerce Lexington Business Link, sponsored by UT partner Kentucky Eagle Beer, Ashley met and scheduled an appointment with The Lane Report. During the discovery process Ashley and Tyler learned that many of the newer employees of The Lane Report didn’t really know exactly how to work their older office phones. After a free carrier bill audit, charges for old phone lines they weren’t even using were discovered and savings were found. Several employees of The Lane Report attended a UT Lunch Seminar about the ShoreTel platform and really liked the product. They were so impressed with the simplicity and ease of use that they chose it over a lower priced option. They were excited to gain a partner to support all of their voice needs and put them on a reliable system.
The following questions were posed to and answered by Dick Kelly, Publisher and CEO of The Lane Report.
