Ashley Logan is the newest member of our sales team in Lexington. She also played a big part in our recent Awards Dinner. Ashley worked with our house band ‘Chad Daddy and the Dial Tones’ on a song with lyrics by our own Ron Coleman (Technical Engineer in Lexington). Ashley planned to sing with the band but on the day of the banquet she came down with a bad virus. Thanks to technology she was able to record the song (with the Dialtones) remotely and it was a huge success at the dinner.
Here’s a little more about Ashley, in her own words…
Tell us a little bit about the type of work you do at Unified Technologies
I work in the Lexington sales department as an account executive. I love my job as I’m part of the “face” of Unified Technologies in our community. I love meeting new people, businesses and networking. In the past year and 4 months that I’ve worked here I’ve joined 3 networking groups and I’m also the VP of membership for the AAF Chapter here in Lexington. I am always looking for new opportunities to help local businesses with their unified communications needs and earn their partnership.
When you aren’t at work, what keeps you busy?
My 7-year-old son, Graham! He plays basketball, tennis and has just started taking guitar lessons. This guy is my world!
I also enjoy staying active: I work out at home, go on walks with friends and play basketball with my son in our driveway.
Have you always been in this industry? If not, what brought you where you are today?
I’ve been in telecom for just a year and a half. Before this, I was the marketing and account manager for a group of local occupational medical clinics and I also have a background in creative advertising.
What’s one thing you love about what you do for a living?
Hands down meeting new people and developing new relationships!
Tell us a little bit about what you do for fun.
Play tennis
Sing karaoke
Serving at my church
Spontaneous road trips with my gal pals
If you could do one thing for a living that had nothing to do with your current job, what would it be?
Duh! Rock Star!
Is there something fun or interesting that you’d like people to know about you?
I’m a pop culture trivia star.
Favorite food or snack
My favorite is an Indian dish called Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spicy).
Family info
I’m the oldest of 3 children. I’m very close with my family and I grew up in London, KY. I have one son, Graham, and he is almost 8 years old and in the 2nd grade. I just became an aunt late last year and I adore my sweet little nephew, Jaxon.
