Who doesn’t love heroes? This month we are thrilled to spotlight one of our customers that takes being a hero to epic proportions (pun intended). Epic Insurance Solutions is a group of self-proclaimed, aspiring super heroes. While their day to day efforts focus on providing expertly crafted Health, Business and Personal insurance solutions, their work outside the office is where they really wear their capes well.
Epic Insurance Solutions has a philosophy that everyone can be a hero and encourages their employees to be super heroes in everything they do. Epic Insurance Solutions is very active in the community. One of their activities this year was as co-sponsor of Kosair Charities’ Camp Quality, a summer camp for young cancer patients and survivors. Eighty-four kids attended the camp this year, and Epic Insurance Solutions raised over $25,000 and provided “capes for kids” at the camp send off.
They also promote an office culture of fun! We hear that humming in the elevator is mandatory and they even provide a list of acceptable songs. It’s pretty hard to be in a bad mood when you’re humming. Check out their Facebook page for more “office fun” ideas.
WhenEpic Insurance Solutions first partnered with Unified almost three years ago, they needed a system for a staff of about eight employees. Today they are in the process of adding their third location and will have 80 handsets once the Indianapolis branch is installed. All that fun and good will must be working.
