In our first installment of Just One Thing, Keri Kennedy, our very own project manager, shows us how to transfer calls to your cell phone in a snap! It’s one of Keri’s favorite ShoreTel features, and it’s a convenient one.
If you would like to use this feature on your ShoreTel system, you will first need to set up your cell phone as one of your devices. Go to the Orange Swirl in the top left of your communicator and click options. Choose ‘My Phones’ and add your mobile number to the list. All set.
Steps to transfer calls to your cell phone:
- Pick up the handset to greet your caller. Let them know you are moving them to your cell phone (wait a second or two for connection)
- Press “move” and dial the number. Be sure to enter a “1” before a 10-digit number.
