So millennials don’t like voice mail. Not surprising. What is a little startling is that some big companies are pulling the plug on it. Banking giant JP Morgan Chase is eliminating voicemail for 65% of its employees and when Coca Cola decided to do away with it at their Atlanta Headquarters, only 6% of its employees asked to keep it.
Communication tools are constantly changing and evolving. It is simplicity and efficiency that today’s work force is demanding. While there will always be a need to communicate, the way we do it today may not be the best way in the future.
