Business as Usual…Well…Almost.
It’s been a crazy week across our area and like everyone else we’ve tried to conduct business as usual; but there’s nothing ‘usual’ about subzero temperatures and over a half foot of snow.
We logged and cleared 120 service tickets before 11 am on Monday, most of those asking for help with their ‘inclement weather’ greetings. We upgraded the software at Jones Plastics and installed and trained on a new ShoreTel system for Davies County Teachers Federal Credit Union in Owensboro. We prepared for ShoreTel systems installations at 2 new locations of Your Community Bank and staged another installation at a Norton’s location. The ShoreTel Mobility application on our system allowed many of our employees in remote areas of the region to work from home. Luckily there were no circuit outages and we were lucky that the snow was light and didn’t pull down any power lines.
Bickford & Associates contracted with us for a new ShoreTel system for their office in Reno, Nevada and Advanced ENT & Allergy partnered with us to support their Mitel system for the next 5 years.
Except for four of our employees getting stuck trying to enter our parking lot, we didn’t miss a beat. How did you fair this week? Here’s hoping warmer weather is on the way.
