The snow is probably piled around many pitchers’ mounds across the country and opening day is still 80 days away but there’s always baseball in our town. We know this because we just spent the last couple months at Louisville Slugger Museum. Our installation team and Hillerich & Bradsby’s IT staff just completed the installation of a new ShoreTel platform at the Factory and Museum. The ShoreTel platform is the same system used by many of the Major League Baseball teams including the San Francisco Giants, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins. The new technology will streamline communications at the factory and give the employees state of the art tools integrated with their Outlook mail and calendars.
When asked about the installation, Chris Crofoot of Louisville Slugger said “The project was outstanding. It was the ideal project and I couldn’t have asked for a better implementation.” After commending the hard work of our installation team Chris called the project “uneventful”. That…is the best thing you can say about an installation of over 150 extensions, instant messaging and a new contact center.
In an industry that deals with record breaking competitors, hall of famers and America’s past time, uneventful, in this case, is a very good thing.
