Bob Daugherty, of DMLO, participated in our customer panel at our ShoreTel Lunch and Learn today. He said DMLO held a contest and employees who wanted to participate recorded their version of the company’s telephone greetings. The person voted best was chosen to record all the office greetings. Nothing like using the company’s own talent to deliver its message.
We will always assist our customers and record their telephone greetings for them or connect them to a professional voice company; but the idea of using your own staff and making a fun contest out of it, well, that’s awesome. Just because we call it work doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. Thanks for sharing that Bob. I’m sure someone will use that suggestion in their business.
