New VoIP phone network will enhance and repurpose existing systems to allow for better communication between logistics facilities and Ashley Furniture locations
LOUISVILLE, KY – Unified Technologies is pleased to begin working with KHF Holdings, the parent company of Ashley Furniture stores in Louisville, Ky. and Indianapolis, In., to design and install a telecommunications network that will enhance their communications network.
A new ShoreTel VoIP communications platform will be the core of the company’s voice network, which will include the repurposing of over 100 existing Cisco IP phones. The integration with their logistics company will improve service for Ashley Furniture customers and allow the call centers of both companies to operate more efficiently. Unified Technologies will also help KHF leverage the new technology to support additional business ventures.
Work on the project will begin in early October, 2011. Ashley Furniture is the #1 selling home furniture brand in North America.
