We are excited to announce that American Air Filter International (AAF), headquartered in Louisville, KY with operations in 22 countries and more than 2,600 employees worldwide, has decided to partner with Unified Technologies and ShoreTel for their new VoIP platform. Although we are just in the beginning phases of this new relationship, we were given permission by Rick Schibler, VP of Information Technology, to share the following email he sent to our team shortly after the decision was made to move forward with our solution.
I wanted to take the time to communicate a few things to you now that we are done. I would like to pass along the ‘behind the scenes’ discussions as to the real reasons of the selection of Unified/Shoretel (other than the business case) that you can pass along to your other employees at Unified.
The overall impression of the Unified/ShoreTel presentation was fantastic. We were extremely impressed with the passion you guys exhibited in your product and it clearly showed that you felt the product was second to none. And the presentation to the team backed it up. We also felt the personnel you presented to us were very knowledgeable, professional, personable and actionable. We also thought the PM you presented for us was well qualified. She explained the functionality and process in a very effective manner. The functional teams left there looking forward to wanting Unified to manage our project.
So, I appreciate everything you did in this overall bid process and the timeliness of the provision of the required information. Mike did a great job at representing the face of your company and took my abuse well :-). I believe we will have a great working relationship and we are excited to get the ShoreTel product installed in our office. If it works as well as I expect, we may move up the scalability to our other offices. Thanks again for all your hard work and efforts. It paid off.
