Every six weeks Unified Technologies puts on a VOIP seminar in both Lexington and Louisville Kentucky. Yesterday we had one at the Campbell House in Lexington with not one but two representatives from ShoreTel on hand. A big thank you to Rick and Sylvia from ShoreTel for their help and kind words about us as a leading partner of ShoreTel.
What is great about these seminars is that we take a back seat to not only ShoreTel, but to our customers as well.
At each seminar we invite in a guest panel to field questions and talk about their experience with not only ShoreTel but how it was to work with Unified Technologies.
We had a great customer turn out yesterday. Vick Mollett from Southland Christian Church was there. He spoke about how easy the voice mail is to use and how he can select which one he wants to listen to. Vick also talked about how he was able to change the after hours call handling on his system while sitting at home. Vick is a wiz with the system and is always uncovering more great features that the ShoreTel has.
Don Blakeman from Georgetown College was also their discussing how easy the ShoreTel system was to deploy. Don talked about how fun it was to clean out is closet which had mountains of old manuals for his old system. More importantly, Don spoke about how easy the cut over was on his 750 phone install.
Pictured above is the part that was most entertaining for me was when I saw Don walk up to Vick and say, “So I hear you are using SIP phones.” It was fun then watching two customers talk on their own about their different uses with their phone systems.
